What does Luhn-valid mean?
It means the number passes the Luhn checksum. That confirms the check-digit format only; it does not prove that an account exists or that a payment will be authorized.
Can I generate test numbers beginning with 55?
Yes. Enter 55 or a pattern such as 55xxxx. Auto length selects a 16-digit test number and calculates the final Luhn check digit.
Can generated numbers process payments?
No. Generated values are test data only. For end-to-end payment testing, use the official sandbox numbers supplied by your payment gateway.
